how i can fix or find root cause of this?
are you persian?
wiling or tiling?
Why such a big discrepancy between CPUs loading and load average?
how can i investigate what a process is doing that slows down the entire machine responsiveness?
anyone have an idea what’s wrong?
Reminds me of linux 20yrs ago, the good old gore days
choices like gnu/linux rulrs
I see that
$ pkg-config –path sqlite3
/usr/lib/pkgconfig/sqlite3.pc
now i have installed another library, it’s name is serd, that didn’t place it’s .pc file, so i’m trying to figure out where is usually the command that places the pc file
I inspected https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/blob/packages/sqlite/trunk/PKGBUILD but it’s not there. any ideas?
(i picked sqlite randomly as an example)

pc files should be installed by the application’s build system, not by the PKGBUILD
thanks, yes it is, in my use case it’s name was serd-0 instead of the expected serd-1
Nvm, I really only wanted to know if it was I alone with issues
how i can fix or find root cause of this?
notes:
– panel was shown while previous focus losses but modifying (auto-hide) or removing panel didn’t fix anything.
– firefox doesn’t affected
– chromium was worked flawlessy since last update until tonight.
it started like this but not even panel shown now and problem still here.
xdotool getwindowfocus getwindowname
xdotool getwindowfocus getwindowname
wayland
Since you said it worked before an update I’d go through the log, downgrade things and try to isolate what it was
last chromium update was at 5 july and it doesn’t had issues till tonight. so, i guess it’s not related chromium update.
what i installed other than chromium is just kde stuff.
weird thing is looks like only chromium affected but chromium didn’t updated recently and i didn’t encounter this issue until installed kde stuff 🤔

Go through the actual log and see what else exactly got an update then
pacman.log

Just getting …………
whenever trying to install any new package
whenever trying to install any new package
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman#.22Failed_to_commit_transaction_.28invalid_or_corrupted_package.29.22_error
then I thought to update system I updated it but at the end I got again corrupted key this time too many then I tried upgrading keyrings and various sol. regarding the same
I just installed vlc and my system is also up to date….
Got no error regarding keys

😍❤️
wiling or tiling?
Huh, tiling 😉

Why such a big discrepancy between CPUs loading and load average?
CPU loading continuously showed as 25% or like this.
teams-for-linux sometimes goes haywire and tops cpu usage. so much so that opening a new terminal can take long seconds. i started executing teams under a cgroup slice of 200% cpu, out of 800% and 8gb hard memory limit (6gb soft). yet, when teams is acting up, my machine slows down to barely usable, still.
can it be i/o? how can i measure cpu usage for a process tree (the parent and children) to test my cgroup slice?
