Pretty much everything is supported by linux these days

Would still be better to go for something with linux support from the vendor side. There are also a lot bad touchpads (basically everything made by elantech) you wont enjoy on linux

with my T61p i can just swipe the DVD drive out at any given time point and swap it with a hard drive slot, and this “elegant” ideapad with “slick design”, “thin bezels” and “Dolby” (actual featurelist) does not have a DVD drive at all!

my t61p and this ideapad were roughly the same in terms of price btw
