27 67=94 not 99
That might be the 5% reserved root space

That’s exactly what I meant above. I just wasn’t sure about the percentage – whether it’s 5% or 10%.
If it’s not that, then maybe there’s a math error in the output.
valsodar 2022-07-14 20:15:27
I’ve seen math errors before in linux (XFBurn, to be precise).

so the used space hogs another 5GB

I never use cp unless it’s a dead simple operation, rsync is nicer
Just one question that I don’t see the article to cover – can the options be one after another (like this: -v —progress) or do they have to be together (like this: —vprogress)?

Why not try and see?
valsodar 2022-07-14 20:22:29
I’ve never used rsync before, IDK what will happen and I don’t wanna mess up my files.
rockmonstr 2022-07-14 20:24:10
did you try going to rsync archwiki page?
rockmonstr 2022-07-14 20:24:54
there should have command examples that will give your the hint
valsodar 2022-07-14 20:25:16
Not yet. I just wrote “rsync” in the Duck and read whatever came first.
rockmonstr 2022-07-14 20:25:45
i suggest reading archwiki then
valsodar 2022-07-14 20:26:56
Doing that right now.
valsodar 2022-07-14 20:28:38
It seems the archi wiki is much more comprehensive in this case than other websites. In this case because in other cases it doesn’t help much or at all.

pacman -Qs emoji to check if you have any emoji fonts installed
otherwise install noto-fonts-emoji is a commonly used one

I used rsync -rv —progress sourcedir/* targetdir and it doesn’t display any progress. It only shows them like this:

Considering how long it takes for the next episode to appear, I’m not complaining. 😀
valsodar 2022-07-14 21:07:15
It copies an episode in about 5 seconds tops. 😀
valsodar 2022-07-14 21:07:44
Which A LOT faster than the regular CP command.
