I am using pipewire. I have my laptop display connected to the TV and its audio profile set to output:hdmi-stereo input:analog-stereo . When I turn off the TV and turn it back on, the audio profile set to my laptop’s speaker and I have to manually set it again with the command pactl set-card-profile alsa_card.pci-0000_00_1b.0 output:hdmi-stereo input:analog-stereo . How do I make it default or when the TV is connected it automatically switches back to it.

Does anyone here use amdctl

My cores are constantly locked on Pstate 0, so it doesn’t drop to 1 or 2 which would improve my battery life.
Lord_Vicky 2022-07-21 09:26:23
I can enable / disable a pstate but even if I disable pstate 0, it still shows current pstate as 0

Maybe you should read your own message properly. You said “manual gui (endeavor os) “. You need to explain what you mean by “manual” and what you mean by manual gui . Arch Linux doesn’t have a gui installer, so it’s quite safe to assume you aren’t talking about Arch Linux

Wayland can now be used on electron apps without worrying about changing flags if it is needed to switch to X. Just need to wait for apps to upgrade to Electron 18.

Did you remove the live usb after installing endeavorOS? Also, you can select the boot media from the BIOS boot menu by pressing either f10 or f12 while booting, the button changes depending on your bios
ActuallyNotGelb 2022-07-21 17:04:33

set SigLevel to Never in pacman.conf
I did that, and I upgraded the keyring
but it still fails
I guess I’ll keep it at never and hope it doesn’t cause problems

You can install the file from cache directly with -U, as a local file it won’t check the signature
