I didn’t say I don’t have it
The question is why is it not in official repos like discord

I answered you in detail why it is not, and why it won’t be for the foreseeable future.

I remember screen sharing was not working in Chromium at all, so this was the only reason I switched to Chrome, where it works with no problems.

Works fine here at least

Hello, I don’t use or plan to use bluetooth, how can I get rid of this message at startup. Also I haven’t installed any bluetooth related dependencies.

That’s not an arch linux issue, search up vim docs

Good work on here guys!

Can anyone on the latest arch linux gnome confirm they can mount connected android storage using Gsconnect?

I can’t seem to be able to mount my android storage through Gsconnect on EndeavourOS.

I am asking just to know if the issue is from Arch directly and not a distro specific issue.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

unboundvariable 2022-07-22 21:41:21
You’re probably better off installing real arch and seeing for yourself.

Given how close EnOS is to Arch it’s unlikely to be distro-specific. However, you’re better asking about EnOS on their Telegram or forum.

hey guys, I don’t use network manager, because my laptop is suspended frequently, and the NM is pretty slow to wake up. Is there any other GUI applet, which not uses the network manager? I tried to find, but all the result has shown the nm-applet
unboundvariable 2022-07-22 22:18:09
It restores instantly here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
unboundvariable 2022-07-22 22:22:36
Good question tho, does any other manager with applet exist?
montyx 2022-07-22 22:23:23
dunno. I use iwd for wifi management and I hoped that there is a gui for that, w/o luck
montyx 2022-07-22 22:24:07
the iwd is pretty fast and reliable

iwgtk from aur is nice. why don’t use nm with iwd as backend?

Remind me again why “chrome” can’t be packaged in arch, but can for others? Just curious..

Is allowed by license?

unboundvariable 2022-07-22 22:34:41
idk, is it?

I don’t know but I doubt

Actually since we’re talking about networking do you have any idea why is NetworkManager so slow to connect to the internet? I’m connected via cable, running bspwm with lightdm as desktop manager. When the login screen appears and I enter my password instantly as soon as the login prompt appears NetworkManager takes like probably 7 or 8 seconds to finally connect to the internet.

Journalctl logs: http://ix.io/45aa

Just looking for a reason, not interested in installing it personally, but I know others who are, and thought I’d find out why…
unboundvariable 2022-07-22 22:37:07
trivial as it is to get from aur
