Appimages don’t run on linux-hardened? I got Obsidian-0.15.6 and freetube_0.16.0_amd64, and they are dumping cores.

Interestingly, I installed the AUR of freetube https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/freetube-bin. Even it is crashing.

I think it has something to do with Electron. I personally despise Electron and that’s why I was using the appImages.

Freetube works for me.

No, just wondering about having /home on a different partition as an assurance in case something goes wrong and I have to reinstall

No plan for distro hopping

if you dont sudo rm -rf /*, your /home will not be lost and in the worst case you can always copy it from the broken install

or remove everything except /home from the root partition and pacstrap again
