Where’s the archlinux-keyring downgrade?

If you could just answer the question, believe it or not it has a practical purpose

I downgraded all, how do I downgrade only archlinux-keyring

then if you don’t know, don’t simply ignore what was told you and joke about everything is failing

I downloaded it in this machine, and I wiped it

I can find the name but the size may differ if anything is wrong with the file itself, which it shouldn’t

the keys are all failing to import tho

pacman -S core/archlinux-keyring

Do you remember whether it was the bootstrap image (~150MB) or the full image (~800MB)? Was it the latest one (July 2022)?

full 700 and something MB July 2022, yes

If you don’t delete the package you can install it directly from the cache with pacman -U; that normally works around the signature check as it’s a “local” file.

I won’t go as far as saying that. But it does look like downloading the latest ISO and trying to do a typical install has issues related to the keyring, yes

I tried the June ISO, same issue

I had issues with systemd in one of the early 2022 ISO, and using an ISO a month prior did work fine
so I tried the same thing here, no luck

I’m afraid I’m not familiar enough with pacman to go any further than this in my evaluation

I’m just gonna help my dad burn a DVD, I’ll maybe switch to Alpine on this system anyway
