Documentation is here: https://github.com/Askannz/optimus-manager

Also keep in mind that you might have different files left over from your various attempts, so make sure you clean things before trying to fix problems.

solved with envycontrol ty

Ok thanks, it worked reinstalling the keyring before launching pacstrap.. Before I launched pacstrap without reinstalling the keyring (I wasnt award of the issue) and then I tried to fix it installing keyring and then pacstrap again. It didnt work. Doing things cleanly worked

What is the software?

amd radeon drivers

jonathn 2022-07-30 19:26:10
kevinroan 2022-07-30 19:25:20
amd radeon drivers

In which case you don’t need that at all.

Unless there’s something specific you’re trying to do that you think you need AMD GPU drivers for?

kevinroan 2022-07-30 19:26:38
facing sound problems, the sound is not that great like windonws gives, tried installting drivers manually but it didnt help

colour schemes, gpu optimizations, etc
jonathn 2022-07-30 19:30:12
Yeah, GPU drivers aren’t going to help with colour schemes. You might also want to read the Arch wiki AMDGPU page.

What does this mean I mounted the efi partition to/mnt/boot like it said on the install guide.
Jay 2022-07-31 02:43:49
Uh don’t mind the paper towel with tape. It’s a place holder till I get one of those Slidy things
jonathn 2022-07-31 02:45:55
Nothing wrong with tape
Jay 2022-07-31 02:55:56
Can you help me with what the right command should look like
ariefr 2022-07-31 02:58:44
Jay 2022-07-31 02:41:39
What does this mean I mounted the efi partition to/mnt/boot like it said on the install guide.

mkdir /mnt/boot first

Jay 2022-07-31 02:59:57
What I did was mount —mkdir /dev/sda1 /mnt/boot like it said on the guide. Does that not do the same thing?
Jay 2022-07-31 03:00:14
I did that outside of chroot btw. Before I did arch-chroot/mnt

Jay 2022-07-31 03:00:14

and now you are INSIDE the chroot on /mnt, so /mnt/boot became /boot

Jay 2022-07-31 03:00:14

arch-chroot, then use /boot

Jay 2022-07-31 03:05:37
ariefr 2022-07-31 02:58:44
mkdir /mnt/boot first

I did this just now

ariefr 2022-07-31 03:06:36
wait, not after arch-chroot
Jay 2022-07-31 03:06:47
I did that while chrooted
ariefr 2022-07-31 03:07:04
no need
Jay 2022-07-31 03:07:14
So what now lol. Delete it?
ariefr 2022-07-31 03:07:54
just continue,
change grub comman to use /boot instead
