shld work as well right ?
but u guys should also know the result right ?
How is this related to Arch Linux again?
What about a firewall on your non-working PC blocking connections to the server?
” , does that refer to on linux pc or on android ?
ssh folder) and expect the connection to work AS WELL ?
Why don’t you just run keygen on your PC?
But i said “just to be funny” , does it actually also work?
what’s that link ?
Ya, i tried.
╰─ ls -l
total 0
–w-r–r– 1 noname noname 0 Jul 31 20:09 abcd.txt
—-r–r– 1 noname noname 0 Jul 31 20:09 abc.txt
Right as i expected..
This line below.. it says: “therefore you need to put your OpenSSH public key into the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file.” , does that refer to on linux pc or on android ?
I asked because i saw there is ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file in android termux home directory as well
However i suspect the authur refers to Linux PC when he mentioned : ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file .. , because he said “You can’t do password authentication in Termux,”

Adding your Public key
You can’t do password authentication in Termux, therefore you need to put your OpenSSH public key into the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file.

Then you can test it by connecting to your ssh service
# -i $PATH_TO_FILE/filename is only required if the id_rsa file is not ~/.ssh/id_rsa
ssh localhost -p 8022 -i %PATH_TO_KEY-FILE%/%NAME_OF_KEY%

You should add client’s key in server’s authorized_keys file. Which in your case means you copy ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub from your PC then you paste it in ~/.ssh/authorized_keys in termux.
OIC, i have done it all wrong. i run the keygen on android and paste the public key generated on android into authorized_keys file in android itself.. that’s why what i did didn’t make sense.. but what you explained make sense.. Thanks.
btw, just to funny. But since i have generated the keypair:
abc and abc.pub on android
can i just copy the abc (private key file into laptop ~/.ssh folder) and expect the connection to work AS WELL ?

Why don’t you just run keygen on your PC? What you’re saying is harder and doesn’t make any sense IMO
Yes, i understood what you said. But i said “just to be funny” , does it actually also work?
Why don’t you try?

It points to Martin’s message.
Personally IDK but I guess it’s gonna work.

Aight, so I have a shitty HP LaserJet printer. I have set up a homeserver and plugged that thing in with USB, done cups and stuff, it worked there, after some fiddling I have managed to add it to Windows and print from there as well, but I can, for the irony of it, add it to my PC. .0.10 is my server and whatever you need to know is on the screenshot
Nope, it works on windows laptop

None

I’ve been wrong all this time, thanks Valve.

TMW they dont realise steamdeck runs a slightly different version of proton and certain other libs valve have individually tweaked for steamOS
