What strategies do you guys employ to clean package/aur cache and remove orphans? Run commands manually? Make an alias that combines all needed commands? Or some other way? Currently I run the following commands manually after upgrade
– yay -Scc
– sudo pacman -Qtdq | sudo pacman -Rns –
– yay -Scc
– sudo pacman -Qtdq | sudo pacman -Rns –

I saw some hooks for that but afk now to drop names, try to search “hook” in aur for example

i once deleted pacman cuz why not, had to reinstall
Just FYI, there is a statically linked version of pacman you can use to install it again. You can download it separately
