So I only need to check the hash of the file to verify if it’s original iso or not @C0rn3j
C0rn3j 2022-08-02 18:27:20
Yes, though of course it can get corrupted while transferring

as a person with not only NVidia, but a really outdated NVidia Quadro FX 570m, i can say that waydroid works reasonably good under weston with RDP backend

Any alternative to system76-power in arch repo?
I want to turn off my gpu
Legoshi478 2022-08-02 19:03:24
Hi everyone!
I have some problems with pacman.
At the moment I’m trying to customize arch iso image(without using archiso program). So, all pacman commands return error like

error: virtualbox-guest-utils-nox: signature from “Christian Hesse <eworm@archlinux.org>” is unknown trust
:: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/virtualbox-guest-utils-nox-6.1.36-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)).
Do you want to delete it? [Y/n]
error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature))
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

Bold part of error are repeating with other PGP signatures.

Well, I’ve tried to google this problem, but not found anything. Do anyone have ideas how to fix this?
Thank you in advance

PS. Sorry for bad english, it’s not my native language

So… I’ve tried archiso few week ago. And on my system it doesn’t return iso file(tested on clear arch, manjaro and garuda)

unboundvariable 2022-08-02 19:28:43
Doing something wrong then. I use it weekly.
Legoshi478 2022-08-02 19:38:07
Well, I don’t know why, but archiso didn’t return errors. According to the logs in the terminal, everything looked quite normal and without problems. Perhaps it has something to do with the components of my computer. On other systems (ubuntu-based, fedora, windows) there were also problems related to the components of the computer. Maybe it was bad idea to build PC based on Chinese motherboard and server CPU. I have many problems by it

Guess you could use acpi_call and power it off cleanly without extra crap

A bit confused about run/build hooks with initcpio – how do I create a hook in it equivalent to this?
C0rn3j 2022-08-02 20:21:25

This is my current attempt, and upon adding it to mkinitcpio.conf, I get ‘hook edid cannot be found’

Aaand now I get 165Hz on my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro laptop!
If someone else has the same series with the issue, the issue for that is here – https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1758
