That’s a very nice oneliner!
cubementore 2022-08-04 19:17:14
it can only install tho
cubementore 2022-08-04 19:17:27
parui supports uninstalling, but it has less fuzzy search
Peter 2022-08-04 19:18:21
Did you come up with it, it’s really neat
Peter 2022-08-04 19:18:48
Damn, I need to use fzf/peco more

The audio works without any issue (what was this for I forgot haha)

Everything works first try? Ha! That’s a new one!

I should start reading some documentation on how the audio system works on linux

Peter 2022-08-04 19:24:24
Pipewire docs are pretty good, although they can sometimes be tedious to read
Lyroy_TheToad 2022-08-04 19:24:48
I’ll try starting with those then

Last time I checked they weren’t

grazzolini 2022-08-04 19:30:25
Perhaps it has improved

I wouldn’t mind if its tedious as long as its specifying enough of the important things. I did PulseAudio with little to zero documentation so yeah.

Yeah, type-c and touchscreen i guess are the biggest pain in the ass, I could go with HDMI tho

What are you talking about? Pretty much any usb-c to HDMI adapter works on Linux

grazzolini 2022-08-04 19:48:09
I bought a cheap one these days it was plug and play

Is there a way to force firefox to play youtube only in 480p resolution to save bandwidth on metered connection?
jonathn 2022-08-04 21:21:48
Isn’t that just a YouTube setting?

I don’t log in to YouTube. Without login when I choose 480p it plays videos in 480p but on next restart again start playing in 720p.

Yes, but your issue has nothing to do with that, right? It would happen the same anywhere you run it.

Right. Should I delete this question and post it in offtopic?
