Whats the output of ethtool on the interface?
Will this finally get you to switch to KVM?
Is it possible that it will be removed if i do a PR?
any error on journalctl ?
I have done this, this will fix issue?
how to auto run a shell script on os boot?
Does anyone know if I’m doing something wrong?
Does anyone know why it doesn’t work?
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Systemd/Journal
i am using lan usb 3.0 adapter
That explains some stuff. Whats the output of ethtool on the interface?
ethtool
ethtool: bad command line argument(s)
For more information run ethtool -h
ethtool: bad command line argument(s)
For more information run ethtool -h
Crazy pitch: how about running ethtool -h and finding out how to query an interface with it?
thats a long list of commands
what u need out of it
what u need out of it
I don’t need anything. If you give us the output of ethtool <interface> command, we can move on

It does not look like your interface is the issue.
the culprits seem to be OS X and Debian Jessie amd64 a bad value in configuration files

ok
then what could be issue

this is the thing responsible for that loud sound.
Is it possible that it will be removed if i do a PR?
would be good for laptop owners (because no dedicated beep speaker) to not get scared and the whole apartment alerted on booting the iso
those who have added should have thought about how it would behave on laptops

It is there for a specific reason, it won’t be removed.

how to fix

if you want to autostart it use systemctl enable NetworkManager
and also systemctl disable systemd-networkd
systemctl stop systemd-networkd
systemctl start NetworkManager.service
Don’t mix 2 network managers. Either use systemd-networkd or use network manager. Mixing NM’s is a recipe for disaster.
^^
and also systemctl disable systemd-networkd
ok
Does anyone know why it doesn’t work?
