just curious why did the developers did not implement selinux on arch

Why would they?

ufoludek 2022-08-11 10:43:14
Only RedHat was brave enough to enable it by default on their distros
ufoludek 2022-08-11 10:43:25
IIRC Ubuntu has AppArmor but it’s disabled by default

Mhhh… You know what I have an official RedHat doc which is great at explaining SELinux in a very easy to understand way.

Some people joining here think that arch users are some kind of elite haxor/developer/sysadmin/devops/god that will help you with anything IT related (this include fixing your printer, fridge, toaster, and plumbing issue in your bathroom) absolutely for free.
tomazcanabrava 2022-08-11 12:08:49
and I haven’t warned him when he asked to help with the hack. “that happens”. but after a “I won’t install it, it’s hard”, well, nope.

I mean, many are, but that doesn’t mean they joined the Arch group to help you install a light switch.

If only there was something like an off topic group which the same people would frequent…

Unless the light switch is managed by systemd on arch linux 😀

Change your screen resolution. i3 doesn’t have scaling support like GNOME/KDE/etc.

But, you might have success with the documentation: https://i3wm.org/docs/userguide.html

or, move to gnome / plasma / etc.

That’s a good motto for Linux. 😁

Windows is the opposite – more time fighting/rebooting the system, less time using it, if you’re lucky. 🤣

Will it affect my system performance if I delete it? 45GB is too much when the whole partition is 120GB.

No. Just delete it & disable indexing in settings.
