isn’t there any kernel parameters to disable reporting these errors?
I tried pci=noaer but no effect!

You could use a display manager instead of just a pure tty.

If that helps then it could well be something to report to the PKGBUILD maintainer to fix.

Yes it worked after installing that. I commented the same under the aur package page. Thanks!

I can give you the names if you want, but it’s gonna be later today, my laptop is not around me now.

I would love to try it. It looks very nice. I would appreciate it if you could give their names.

Greetings everyone. Guys I got this AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700G + TUF GAMING B450M-PLUS II + 2x 8GB ASGARD (3200Mhz) and I have already reinstalled Arch Linux because of the crashes that the system has been presenting. The fact is that if I open video, YouTube, CPU-X test of cousins or even Telegram the system crashes (screen goes black and restarts). And as far as I could observe, my guess, increasing the video demand, the crash happens. Here a person claims he had a similar problem with an AMD Ryzen™ 7 PRO 4750U (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=270678). The recommendations I saw on the forums was to install AMDGPU-PRO, and I have not been successful so far in getting the drive to work. Any help would be and is welcome. The problem was repeated in a similar situation in Windows 10 that I installed, but as soon as the AMD video drive was installed, videos (at least, I didn’t test gaming), worked. I tested with Manjaro and same problem. Everything works perfectly and the processor should support these things, I imagine. I am only using the CPU’s iGPU. Another curious fact is that the BIOS clock does not match the system clock. I’ve already installed ntp and everything I could do via ntp commands and so on. Thanks

If the issue happens in all OS (including Windows) then it’s possibly a hardware issue – have you considered an RMA?

That looks like Windows. Do you have a problem with Arch Linux? If not then you should ask general tech questions in https://t.me/GuildTavern

where should I mount the esp in /boot or /boot/efi?

Rob 2022-08-12 05:19:22
For systemd-boot I would do /boot, maybe 512MB

If you’re dualbooting with windows I would 100% have a dedicated Linux ESP

Rob 2022-08-12 05:21:43
Imo it’s bad practice to use the windows ESP for Arch, although many do. Some uefi have trouble with dual ESP’s apparently but I haven’t ever seen that myself yet.

Not really. I had dual-booted both OSes using the same EFI partition

the first one is latest?
as there’s no date on the pointer one

You could even put it in /efi, at least this is where I keep it on my main rig. Although most distros put efi under /boot/efi
