Can’t really blame btrfs since the ssd had experienced 216 times unexpected power loss before that happened.

Check man aur-build .
Also, if repo packages can’t be found then are you sure you have core, extra, community enabled?
Yeah, I can do aur build –margs -fsCri but this just syncs the same way as makepkg -fsCri, which obviously ignores aur.
Read the aur-build man page, it wants me to create a /etc/aurutils/pacman-$(uname -m).conf. From what I understand this means I should install it from devtools package like install -Dm644 /usr/share/devtools/pacman-extra-x86_64_v3.conf /etc/aurutils/pacman-$(uname -m).conf.

That’s one way of doing it; you could also just copy it.

Hi
Is there any way to modify “/sys/firmware/acpi/bgrt”? It contains the vendor’s logo and I’d like to show another one on boot

RousPhaul 2022-08-15 03:52:08
why do you want to use _exactly_ nspawn?
RousPhaul 2022-08-15 03:54:06
you dont need to use nspawn, just mount all volumes correctly and create fstab
RousPhaul 2022-08-15 03:55:25
you need to add 0 through 9
RousPhaul 2022-08-15 03:55:35
is that 0-9?
RousPhaul 2022-08-15 03:56:20
do it

When using a unified kernel image you can disable the vendor logo and include a boot splash. Alternatively there is of course Plymouth.

Anyone had a problem when power button does not generate any events? systemd-logind says it is associaated with /dev/input/event0, but nothing is showing up there when I press the power button.

It’s packaged on AUR, why bother with snap if you don’t have to?

No, systemd is a requirement for a lot of packages in Arch Linux and it’s used for a lot of things

Check out Artix or obarun for non systemd arch based distros.
