Not mount

I have submitted an issue to snapper, so hopefully it will be resolved.
I don’t want to move my download folder, it’s not elegant and it’s not secure.
ston 2022-08-16 18:21:23
I guess snapper thinks the file directory after bind is the original empty file directory, so it deletes all the files.

because you didn’t enable iwd.service
sudo systemctl enable –now iwd.service

Lightdm doesn’t know anything about xinitrc, as far as I know. Did you install dwm?

There could be. Hence why I asked how you know for sure that was the problem. And also why I asked the OP for the iwd.service status output.

How did you install dwm? Because the AUR package has a xsession desktop entry.

Ok. So yes, you need to put the xsession entry in the right place for ligthdm to pick it. Usually /usr/share/xsessions
neovimka 2022-08-16 19:36:52
xsession entry is it something like dwm.desktop?

I was running into this back when I used iwd (also on my friends laptops)
always the problem was that the service wasn’t running
maybe we could call it personal experiance

Your file is the same as the AUR package:
https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/dwm.desktop?h=dwm
grazzolini 2022-08-16 19:39:59
Just put it on that directory and Lightdm should pick it up
unboundvariable 2022-08-16 19:54:54
I just installed dwm in my xfce/lightdm vm, and dwm shows up, no messing..
neovimka 2022-08-16 19:57:08
just installed i3 for testing and it shows up in a moment, something strange with dwm…

hi all (e buon Ferragosto)
any clue why Microsoft Teams launched by $ teams or by $ ~/bin/teams (Teams under Ubuntu Docker inside Arch Linux) works, but when launching it via the .desktop file from the application launcher I only hear a “du ta tam” and nothing else happens?
