Grub runs the same everywhere, it does next to nothing, however it loads things from storage, which in your case is very slow, so that’s possibly not helping at all.

You claim that, but we can’t know. Specially if you’re using windows, windows uses RTC clock, linux uses UTC. So yes, you’re probably with wrong time on Linux, thinking you’re correct.
