somehow i firmly doubt this is a GPU issue

but if you were able to exclude everything else, trying another kernel might be a solution
have you tried searching the bug tracker for a similar issue?

btw I confirmed this isn’t a gpu issue, i blacklisted nvidia yesterday, got kernel panic again right now
il_muflone 2022-08-25 22:00:22
So what do you expect using the Nvidia .run driver?
il_muflone 2022-08-25 22:00:38
Apart breaking

Check your ram first
BarakObama 2022-08-25 22:01:44
It had been more than 15hrs no kernel panic, so i thought nvidia was the culprit

Do a memory check if it has defects

il_muflone 2022-08-25 22:06:03
Run it for at least 3 hours

your fs is damaged, do a fsck and later reinstall those packages

il_muflone 2022-08-25 22:53:00
fsck tries to repair , sometimes it could remove the damaged files

already broken, nvidia, nvidia-open, nouveau all bring kernel panic somehow

I had similar issue. There is a quick and dirty solution here: https://www.reddit.com/r/archlinux/comments/ww9fa2/problems_with_dkms_modules_and_kernel_519x_gcc_122/

The proper solution is to upgrade and rebuild the modules

akkuducom 2022-08-25 23:14:29
Yes, I guess so. I just don’t have broadband Internet here, so quick and dirty..

read the page

well i could make an image using mkinitcpio, not sure how would it be useful

The second way is to make it read only, let it run fsck and then get read and write by fstab?

Can’t i just boot a live arch and run fsck it on the /dev/sda1?
