Are there by now ntfs tools, like fsck, mkfs for the in-kernel ntfs?

Not yet

Archinstall

How is the drive mounted? Using gio (via a file manager) or using the shell?

Archinstall

Ok, so now is the perfect opportunity for you to understand that using archinstall doesn’t mean that you won’t need to read documentation. https://wiki.archlinux.org. Have fun.

Yes, i saw your image. I wonder why you deleted it though. Anyway, the message is pretty clear, isn’t it?

Hi all. How do you get to the GRUB menu when there timeout is 0 seconds. I tried holding down the Shift key, but that doesn’t work. And I also tried pressing the ESC key, that doesn’t work either.

I can’t change GRUB config because I can’t boot into Arch Linux. After upgrading to kernel 5.19.4 I get this error when booting:

Booting Arch Linux

Loading Linux linux-zen …
Loading initial ramdisk …
error: file /boot/initramfs-linux-zen.img not found

Yes, I know, but I don’t have a bootable flash drive with Arch Linux

JF049 2022-08-29 15:22:08
Boot into archiso (in any way you want, e.g. USB flash drive), mount all necessary partitions, arch-chroot into the installed OS, fix your configs, check if kernels and initramfs images are in place, and only then generate grub configs

Did you shutdown Windows? Have you disabled the fast boot stuff?

Wolandarkside 2022-08-29 17:03:19
Hi
Why is this happening?
I have mounted the file systems at dev/sda1 to /mnt but when I want to chroot into it, it says mount point doesnt exist

Probably /dev/sda1 is not a root partition. (it usually is a boot partition). What’s the output of findmnt?
