Just curious, what stops you from using systemd-boot?

There are multiple screenshot software for Linux. I use spectacle specifically for KDE.

What is the shortcut?

After installing Spectacle, you can configure the shortcuts there or from KDE settings. I think the defaults are:
Meta+PrintScr = Full screen
Ctrl+PrintScr = Window

for all the suddent my firefox font doesn’t have anti alias anymore

The grub package was updated and is safe to use now, right?

Don’t wanna update my system for it to break

The comfort of grub was obviously taken away by the broken update

Can’t beat a good old uefi boot menu

But I use grub because I like grub, easy to install and it has os-prober

UEFI boot menu requires me to press one too many buttons

Two actually, since I have to hold fn down in order to have function keys (65% keyboard)

systemd-boot vs grub is as pointless of a discussion as gnome vs kde for desktop users

yup one is unreliable, but less ugly and more convenient for a lot of people

I tried switching to KDE thrice now and it really did not last long on my machine, it’s a pain in the butt for me to use because I can’t make it look like how I want it to look (minimal and non obstructive)

latte dock keeps crashing and is much less convenient (and more complex) to use than dash to dock

Interesting take, yeah i forget looks are a dealbreaker for some people

And some functionality

Dash to dock and gTile are very important for me because they’re easy to install and very easy to use

On KDE, I put in too much effort into my DE; I don’t have Linux or a Desktop Manager to work on, I have that to work *with*

you can get a dock-like experience with kde and icons only task on panel, and panel made floating, resized.

You know, the whole using my computer as a tool and not as a constant DIY project schtick

With a lot more effort and it not working as well as dash to dock, sure

very little effort.

Haven’t played with any of that stuff, I’ve always used the default plasma theme/wallpaper etc

I know most people shove all the tray stuff on another panel, but not me..
