If they are willing to learn, then there’s no issue. If they are not willing to learn, better to not even use linux at all.

I do agree with u….

So, if you close your KDE X session, you’ll go back to your Display Manager (if you have one). And then you can use CTRL + ALT + F2 to go to a tty.

I wanted to know resources if preparing another tty the previous knife active consuming

I suggest you ask your question on the Arch Linux BR group. There’s clearly a language barrier here.

If one can’t understand the idea of “you have to learn things”, they probabaly should go back to Windows.

your toxic attitude might make ppl hate the distro and community…

You realise Gian said basically the same thing, and you agreed with them?

Sounds like you’re just trying to deflect that you’re wrong on something

It’s common knowledge, If you aren’t willing to learn, Linux most likely isnt for you. Simple as.

If you want to learn the easy stuffs first, Install EndeavourOS or ArcoLinux. Learn about arch e.g. how repos work, how partitions work , how to manage packages, maintain system and come back to vanilla arch.

No bro, if u want to learn arch , spin a vm and install arch manually for 3-4 time… If u did install successfully.. u are ready for the big journey

Genuinely curious, and I’m sure im not the only one who wants to ask, but why is it a bad idea?

Because killing X might leave everything running under it as zombie processes

grazzolini 2022-09-04 18:19:46
Best option is to use loginctl to stop the session
grazzolini 2022-09-04 18:20:06
And even that might leave something behind
grazzolini 2022-09-04 18:20:34
I remember having to run pkill -u more than once

“let the people decide” by lettim them use *broken* tips instead of teaching the right way?

tomazcanabrava 2022-09-04 19:14:13
that’s not how we run things here. 🙂
