Theres’ only one quirk, it’s treating both the HDMI and DisplayPort audio output connections as one device and only feeding out to the TV, not a huge deal but I need to figure out how to get audio coming out of the headset, already got the headset mic working

Reinstall the gnome-control-center package, its image is actually built-in in the binary

Hi I have a weird issue with my earphones.
Whenever I plug them in after a few seconds i get a hissing staticy sound. If I open pulseaudio or play any sound it goes away (and comes back if there’s no audio for a while)
I dont get this issue when they are plugged into another device.
How can I go about diagnosing this

well, is this actually Arch? It’s only the path for Arch. Derivates might have set a different one.

you forgot a space after /mnt, but why do you need /mnt to be the boot partition?

You should ,,sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/boot

Ronard 2022-09-05 17:54:19
But first do mkdir /mnt/boot
Ronard 2022-09-05 17:54:54
I would recommend you using archinstall. Is easier :))

why create an empty directory

to mount the esp there afterwards

Ronard 2022-09-05 17:55:49
You create the mountpoint for /dev/sda1 while you chroot in /mnt
