I want to use intel hd drivers
jonathn 2022-09-12 03:29:44
Might well be wired to the NVIDIA dGPU, so you’d need that to be active in some way for the output to be active (whether that’s the nvidia or nouveau driver)
jonathn 2022-09-12 03:30:02
Whatever you changed broke it, so revert the change.

BarakObama 2022-09-12 03:30:47

Wow. You need to ask better questions. You said “if i add this nvidia-drm.nomodeset in grub, I cannot connect my laptop with hdmi to display?” which heavily implies that you made that change and then it broke.

BarakObama 2022-09-12 03:33:41

jonathn 2022-09-12 03:34:23
OK, so now you are wanting to use it, so you’ll have to enable it.
BarakObama 2022-09-12 03:35:06
do you think there might be more files to revert or just these 2?

Try those first, and see if it works.
