use i3. there an archiso distro called archbang. it s preconfigured. you can go with that first before trying qtile on your own

qtile is not a regular desktop environemnt, is a tilling window manager, which requires configs, dmenu and keybidings.

dmenu is launching you a screen to launch any app like you would do ina aterminal, but with an autocompletion feature where you do it

but again, try i3. it s good as a first tilling wm. since, i guess, you hadn t any experience with tilling wm until now

there s no gui config, you must edit it using nano/vim or any editor you d like

…you have a wiki. use it. also, there are plenty of youtube tutorials. that s how i ve learned, mostly. but i dont know why would you use a tilling wm since you know nothing about it…

I don’t think you want to use i3, considering that you don’t know how to install – you will probably also fail at configuring.
please use something ready for endusers like plasma or gnome untill you have the knowledge to go to i3.
