I love everything single thing about arch, I love the it gives me pain when something goes wrong, and it feels even better to fix those issues by reading wiki, asking in community or by googling 🤩

At the current moment, Wayland isn’t best for everything. But it is certainly good for power saving & low CPU usage.

Guys, I need a help, I have installed from ArchLinuxGUI installer on Dell OptiPlex 3070 PC on my office, everything works flawless, I have also did pacman -Syu, and it’s on latest packages, but then when I turn off my PC and then trun on, it doesn’t boot into Arch, but boots into BIOS, when checked in BIOS everything is fine, Arch is on first boot, but it doesn’t boot. It just keeps booting to BIOS, I have no idea why is it happening, please let me know if anyone knows what it is!!

Chroot into your installation, remove grub & install systemd-boot.

Or you can just keep the old version of grub

As xerxes pointed it out, archlinuxgui doesn’t have any support in this group. Maybe trying it out archinstall on your notebook from your office and trying something new maybe can be a new output for you. Just saying.

Yes. Add a IgnorePkg=grub line to /etc/pacman.conf file

I don’t have completely free time to install it on office, and normally I was not allowed to do it, so I just had to do it quickly, so I used GUI Installer 😂

I have installed it on my laptop from full cli method (arch wiki rocks? 😎😅
