Yes, it does look good. But it strains the eyes when looked from a little farther away. I can just zoom in the page though.

Btw, how to report issues for Arch web?

Arch site is archweb and is here: https://github.com/archlinux/archweb

AUR is aurweb and is here: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/aurweb

1) close telegram
2) do backup right now
3) don’t create excuses

I wish I could boot two OS’s at once and backup the drive and other files at the same time lol

Rerven 2022-09-15 22:39:15
I configured mirror from China the very second when Booted
Rerven 2022-09-15 22:39:35
And it showed nothing wrong

It clearly is failing to install mkinitcpio on the chroot, so something is broken. Does it work if you use pacstrap directly?

Rerven 2022-09-15 22:47:50
you mean:
pacstrap /mnt base base-devel linux linux-firmware mkinitcpio systemd vim

No, mkinitcpio will get pulled as part of base, as will systemd.

Sorry, to be more correct, mkinitcpio will get pulled due to the initramfs dep from the linux kernel and systemd from base.

how do i fix this any idea

i was trying to run rofi , when i run rofi from the command line i get this error. i came to figure out that its a issue regarding locale configuration. i uncommented en_US.UTF-8 in /etc/locale.gen file and , ran locale-gen . even after the locale is generrated the problem still perrsists.

Have you configured your locale correctly?

This is not arch sir

Ronard 2022-09-16 00:04:26
I mean, it s based in arch, but is not pure archiso

My system have got 8GB memory. All the programs which I have used for memory checking (free, htop, KDE system monitor) shows 7.6 or 7.7 GB as total memory.

I have checked that in BIOS configuration, that only 64 MB memory is allocated to the iGPU. So any idea why is there almost 400 MB difference?

GB vs GiB

I had also thought of that. But BIOS shows that there is actually 8 GiB (8192 MB) of space in the RAM.

p87726 2022-09-16 00:12:11
Can it be that BIOS is getting that size to be wrong?

I suspect you have 8GB RAM. 8000/1024=7812GiB

jonathn 2022-09-16 00:16:36
Or, the system is incorrectly using storage size calculations for RAM…
jonathn 2022-09-16 00:17:03
I forget what the JEDEC standard is

It’s a hardware MCE, so there’s not much you can do. Check for a BIOS update, basically.

il_muflone 2022-09-16 01:31:32
sometimes are not relevant, my pc has them on every boot since 10 years
