Why am I getting this operation not permitted error?
I think its already executable

I think its already executable
What does that mean iam begginer

I am following tutorial on yt and this happened
Just skip this step ‘chmod +x’

What does that mean iam begginer
If you don’t know what chmod does, you should be using xmonad in the first place💀

Just skip this step ‘chmod +x’
Thanks it worked

Why am I getting this operation not permitted error?
You see the green colour in ls output, it means the file is executable
chmod +x filename is used to change permission for the file, setting the execution flag
Waiting for x server to shutdown server terminated successfully

Now I am getting this error
Waiting for x server to shutdown server terminated successfully
You shouldn’t be trying xmonad if you’re beginner.

They should do whatever they want to, of they are willing to learn

That’s not really “helping” though…
archinstall died during installation because i asked for gvim, as extra package, that prompted for user input to resolve vim/gvim conflict.
even though i umounted all mount points, there’s a row in lsblk “type crypt” that i _think_ causes parted to fail because of “disk being used”

Can you send lsblk properly
that’s the entire output. ive already umounted the rest
but, cryptsetup closeLuks /dev/mapper/*
“unmounts” the crypt record

I mean the last line is half cut

I mean the last line is half cut
ah, sorry. it says ‘crypt’

how can i solve “disk is in use error” for archinstall’s parted command, when only TYPE crypt is left and other mounts were umounted?

restart the installation process

you use ubuntu?
if you previously don’t mess with it, then you don’t need
if no output at all from xev, you’re doomed, it means the kernel did not even see it.
am on arch
something went wrong while calibrating the power because i force stopped the process when the screen gone dim and then reboot
