Arch is vanilla
Fedora is highly customized

Discord will use xwayland because of the old electron version

I use webcord, and it works

Do you have XWayland? I had to install it because it didn’t come with sway. XWayland is an optional dependency for sway.

There’s no inbuilt option for that in pacman.

Follow these steps:
Get the details of a package with
pacman -Qi package

Then check the optional dependencies field & install those.

Thats a bad idea. optional dependencies might conflict each other or pull in a lot of stuff thats not required. Users should read and install what they want.

dnf apt have those options

Then use Fedora or Debian 😉

And users do install a lot of unneeded stuff, at least on debian/ubuntu, because of this.
Arch is just not what you’re looking for.
