Anyone else using notion-app. Until recently it worked, but now I can’t log in.
Any alternative besides the browser version?

What’s not working exactly?

Looks like the login mask had glitched. After restarting it works again. 🙂

Sorry, my bad . . .

The repository metadata vary from KaOS.
😉

KaOS builds the packages so you should contact them and leave the Arch maintainer alone. Also, stop asking for support with other distributions.

“KaOS is an independent distribution
focused on Qt and KDE.”

Rebuilding Arch’s PKGBUILDs hardly makes it an “independent distro”.

The package has a mistake which applies to both KaOS and Arch Linux.

Doesn’t change the best way of reporting an issue.

OK, so the upstream service file expects the executable to be in /usr/sbin whereas the package installs it to /usr/bin

It’s going to be a packaging decision whether to patch the unit or move the executable, so a bug report is the best way to report the problem

Martin von Reichenberg 2022-09-29 13:12:51
Yup,
But I do not want to register again somewhere only for a tiny “bug” report . . .

SO I sent an e-mail to the former packager . . .

The page you linked to tells you the current packager, but OK.

Arch has gone through merged usr directories.
/usr/sbin should be symlinked to /usr/bin so this isn’t a valid bug report.

Ah, good to know. So, not a bug or packaging issue, and it goes back to the fact you should report issues with KaOS to KaOS and leave Arch maintainers alone.

this is why “archlinux derivatives” is not supported,
because no one knows what have changed.
