Hmmm im not using zfs, i think, as i can understand, once for grub and once for the lvm
hekurangashi 2022-07-12 13:00:42
But the thing is, its one “physical” partition, and thee logical ones

Boot; root; home
qontinuum 2022-07-12 13:12:36
Oh no, LVM
qontinuum 2022-07-12 13:14:00
You have to embed a keyfile in the initramfs so it is used to decrypt the root partition before mounting it

@Bhagwan_Kalki
1. escape stuff other than spaces, curl can do it for you
curl -Gs “https://libgen.is/search.php” –data-urlencode “req=$*”
2. only chuck norris can grep html (jk, but a dedicated html parser like pup/htmlq will make your code much shorter and cleaner)

1, don’t roll your own html parser

Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 16:48:41

Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 16:58:46

Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 16:58:55
i think this is my main issue
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 17:03:48
Update! If I query what package the library is from and reinstall the library one of the errors goes away
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 17:03:58
so i’ll do it for all of them! and maybe we will be fixed
UnicornBl00d 2022-07-12 17:35:39

They were asking for it
ChrisCromer 2022-07-12 20:05:09
So they are corrupt.
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:05:23
would it be faster if some of the packages I don’t need anymore I just delete
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:05:29
or should I fix them
ChrisCromer 2022-07-12 20:05:42

If you don’t need them, why are they installed. 🤦🏻♂
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:05:49
because I forget
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:05:55
I use them like once
ChrisCromer 2022-07-12 20:06:23
Cleanup you can worry about later, fixing things is first priority.
ChrisCromer 2022-07-12 20:06:53
Just skip those packages you plan to delete later, once it’s fixed then you can remove them.
ChrisCromer 2022-07-12 20:09:43
This is the second worst fucked up system I have ever seen… The only one worse than this was unchrootable because of glibc partial upgrade combined with various other partial upgrades to packages used by pacman such as readline… So no working pacman and unchrootable system…
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:14:04
did it get fixed?
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:18:18
so i’m trying to saving the pacman warning to a file
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:18:28
but using >> makes it come up empty every time
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:18:30
so confused
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:20:25

Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:20:29
well I use openrc
Linux Enjoyer 2022-07-12 20:20:31
so uhh
