I’m gonna begin my journey to the center of the universe, once there i’ll fuse myself with the body of the divine supercomputer and I will collapse the universe, to then restart a new one from scratch

Why does the registry get corrupted so often?

lanciagreggori 2022-08-03 07:32:00
Hell I remember even on a new installation of windows, pure and virgin with no other software touched, the registry was still corrupted
RadiantKnight 2022-08-03 07:47:10
Of course
RadiantKnight 2022-08-03 07:47:40
1. Fresh install…
2. Hours of update…
3. Rebooting…
4. BSOD…
5. Profit.

I remember reinstalling it 1000 times cause it would get slow after a few days, some driver issue, <bug>, <bug>, etc…

Night_H4nter 2022-08-03 08:00:56
because ideally, you should disable driver automatic installation, and install them manually
Night_H4nter 2022-08-03 08:01:51
we don’t do it in our office but that’s the best practice

So you have to push a GPO manually for every firmware update? 😕

Night_H4nter 2022-08-03 08:05:37
I don’t think we ever had any firmware updates lol
