I searched for this error and they say it has something to do with libevent’s soname I rebuild the package and it worked can you fix it in repos too?

Does pacman support repository ordering/priority? It’s complaining
warning: firefox: local (103.0.2-1) is newer than world (103.0.1-1)
Although it’s been upgraded a moment ago from other repositories.

Pacman takes the first it finds as for the ordering of the repos in the pacman.conf

type in sudo vim /etc/environment

remove

comment this

Install vim 🤷‍♂

Install something else then

Install Kate that’s pretty newbie friendly

Can you start Kate like this tho? Like just same command except replace vim with kate

vim is an editor

you needed to comment out (or delete) 2 lines that set up the artix theming

if you use kde dont forget to change gtk app theme too

reboot if neccessary

or just log out and log in

kids dont do pacman -Sy
