i made the mistake of thinking installing apt on arch was a good idea several years ago

I have converted from Arch twice. Once in 2017 when we made Artix. And a second time I converted a Arch WSL into Artix WSL. 😂

zfs is well established and doesnt have issues such as not being able to tell how much free space you have

Yes, everything is compiled against systemd libs in arch… while init isn’t systemd, everything is using systemd, such as journalctl for logs…

both have issues and features the other doesn’t

I use a btrfs system and can see how much free space I have

btrfs has more issues than zfs that ive identified by searching

My Artix WSL has no init at all inside of it… however the Arch WSL has systemd inside it and it can’t be removed because everything will break.
