turning a dustland into cultivable soil

Chernozem consists mainly of humus and phosphoric acids… Theoretically you can make it synthetically but you will need either giant compost farms or swamp drying facilities

I think using classic soil for food production is not efficient, and vertical farms would do better

I’m not sure how they work in detail since I haven’t seen planning sheets, but I wish to know

I’m totally uneducated in agriculture and as a consequence some of my questions might look inadequate so pardon me 🙂

Yes, but I’ve seen more experimental designs of some french company, they are growing crops in large cyllindrical tubes
