Agaricomycetes are those which use spore sacks to reproduce, they are generally don’t give a shit about in which position to grow

Basidiomycetes, which use gills / tubes to spread spores, will grow towards the light and against gravity pull, so they would be also extremely crooked

I heard gecko embryos couldn’t develop in zero gravity environment

so I assume that affects spores as well

Like I’ve seen an experiment where some girl tried growing fungi in a ball of wool, and she succeed, but those fruits were extremely hard to harvest and also there was too few of them

Depends on a genus… Some spores have flagella, which allow them to float in desired direction

Anyways mostly fungi are cultivated via collecting spore prints and then making inoculation syringes of them, I doubt that in real lab there would be spores floating in the air freely

That would be undesirable due to possible contamination spread / undesirable mutation or breeding
