normal ssd (expected to be used with NTFS/apfs/hfs+ ) usually have a capable FTL , so any fs should work fine. f2fs can work on them, so can ext4

yes, you need to tell mkfs.f2fs the specific parameters (erase block size, number of channels, how many active logs , etc. otherwise you are just using it as a normal block device without the benefit of f2fs

Artixdark theme is great but when I switch to adwaita (for light theme) the bottom boxes appears black. This should not be happening because in Arch with adwaita this problem was not there. I also installed Orchis theme but same problem is present there also.
Why this is happening? Adwaita theme should work exactly same on Arch and Artix with same DE ie XFCE. Further which theme I should install as light theme?

Adwaita is a gtk theme… Simple screen recorder is a qt app, not gtk… You need to configure qt theme for that.

why is my sdcard showing up as sda then
USB Mass storage (and USB attached SCSI) are exposed to userspace by the same scsi driver as other sata drives, if your sdcard is connected by a USB card reader, that is why. if your sdcard is connected directly it might shown as mmcblk like a emmc device

Nothing to do with arch nor artix. Nothing to do with systemd nor other inits. Your 2 systems don’t have the same config.

I had a similar issue and I removed all artix’s rice related packages such as artix-presets etc
