i dont have a better perfomance or something like that separating dirs, and i prefer only one partition with subdirectories

i have 3 hdds so, i have 1 for OS, 1 for games and projects, and 1 for personal data

But I actually think to stop using separate usr partition

Home is located on the second drive, so it’s not exactly a separate partition, but a separate drive

I don’t benefit much from separating it, I have only some stuff under /usr/local, but I can just leave it at /home

what about the case for separating /tmp

with LVM you can just neglect this stuff tho heh

I separated those partitions because I reinstalled a system many times some time ago while trying new systems
