Short, concise book
Gee, I can’t remember the last time I managed to learn a topic in CS in a short&concise manner lol.
Dominisia 2022-09-16 17:38:33

The biggest issue obviously is to get people to seed your ISO… if not then its just a normal download server.😆
You could try putting the torrent options first, like a certain other distro

No regex, facility code features, no filters
lanciagreggori 2022-09-16 19:32:09
qontinuum 2022-09-16 19:31:59

Yeah like in C
lanciagreggori 2022-09-16 19:32:25
I really liked metalog, but I want something even simpler

No regex, facility code features, no filters
Just pure logging
qontinuum 2022-09-16 19:32:42
Just take busybox’s syslog
qontinuum 2022-09-16 19:33:26
You can check the syslog’s kernel interface man page I guess to see what it gives you and what you want to do with it
qontinuum 2022-09-16 19:36:13
Ah no fuck it is only for kernel logs
lanciagreggori 2022-09-16 19:36:23
qontinuum 2022-09-16 19:32:42

Just take busybox’s syslog
Yeah I’ll probably look into that as a starting point
qontinuum 2022-09-16 19:38:31
Maybe it is even a good starting point to learn how to implement it yourself

artix, s6
qontinuum 2022-09-16 20:14:05
In openrc you can use netifrc for example

I really can’t give any good answer
Maybe you can force an IP on your DHCP client or network manager

i already forced a rule on my modem/router to give my eth a static ip
qontinuum 2022-09-16 20:15:34
Sadly Arch doesn’t have any other equivalent of ifupdown than networkd
Spektrum_light 2022-09-16 20:15:52
just don’t want to dhcpcd eth0 each time to recieve it
qontinuum 2022-09-16 20:17:14
Spektrum_light 2022-09-16 20:15:52

just don’t want to dhcpcd eth0 each time to recieve it
Then you can write a script using ip to set your stuff manually
