thanks, let me read about it. mysql actually is really horrible.. the rest is not that much a problem.. because script files does not change often.. if we change something on the site, or backend or whatever.. upload it to server 1 .. rsync within next 15 min is fine to update the mirror

we do not split web and mysql for several reasons

when server1 is back online.. ips will be changed back .. question is .. that will happen in this moment .. will server2 mysql sync with server1 mysql.. , does it need time, what if the ip change is faster than the sync.. especially with auto_increment primary keys
