Not even AUR… If you have to send your PKGBUILD privately… It has some shady shit in it most likely which might destroy your system or install a backdoor or something. Don’t trust anything that guy sends.

To me it sounds like someone trying to target people to hack their sysyem.

PKGBUILD files are just shell scripts… So naturally running a random shell script that you haven’t checked is dangerous.

The only good thing is that makepkg runs without root privileges, so at least the script won’t be run as root.

Won’t work, makepkg detects elevated privs and quits.

Modify makepkg source code and change it.

But will say it’s fucking stupid to change from sudo to su, it’s less secure.
