Show us the errors you get from the logs, the errors you get from running it from the console are not going to be the same. Also stop sending photos, use a pastebin.

Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.

And I was right different errors. 🤦🏻‍♂
ChrisCromer 2022-09-29 04:16:22
It says networkmanger is already started… Which means you have 2 dinit services trying to start it…
ChrisCromer 2022-09-29 04:16:38
Only 1 copy of network manager can run
rsv3n 2022-09-29 04:17:02
uh thanks for the info let me check this
AndrewBenn 2022-09-29 04:17:45
networkmanager-dinit should launch it the right way.
ChrisCromer 2022-09-29 04:18:48
the fact that he put that in a dinit service and is trying to run it… makes me think he wrote a second dinit script…

yes i installed it but it didn’t start thats why i was checking

ChrisCromer 2022-09-29 04:19:05
it did start, that is why you are getting those errors
ChrisCromer 2022-09-29 04:19:45
which means whatever problem you are having isn’t related to it being started… because it is running

Linus Torvalds Wins Intel InnovatiON Lifetime Achievement AwardTechPowerUp
Intel commemorated Linux creator Linus Torvalds with the first Intel InnovatiON Lifetime Achievement Award. Torvalds needs little introduction, as he created the first successful Unix-like operating system that sparked off a community-led development effort toward the Linux of today, an OS that runs…

Varying the block size

Though it might cause problems depend on what you’re trying to do

lanciagreggori 2022-09-29 08:45:04
I remember specifying block size to something other than 512 bytes and it caused problems for live usbs
qontinuum 2022-09-29 08:54:05
Yup, it can happen
qontinuum 2022-09-29 08:56:40
The best is to put bs to the actual block size of the target

Thing about pipewire – you don’t need to start pipewire-pulse manually. In pipewire.conf (~/.config/pipewire/pipewire.conf) section “context.exec” exists. You can launch anything you want with pipewire.

Is it possible to change, say, the default file manager launched by some software (i.e. web browsers, or Libreoffice…) when downloading/saving files? Or is it hard-coded? I don’t use a desktop manager and still, when I download a file from my browser, something similar to Nautilus apears.I would like to set that to lf
cfp_95 2022-09-29 11:59:38
Hope I explained muself :’)
Kadouryy 2022-09-29 12:01:03
If you do this by a Gui software, i think the Common dialog is a Gui… no sure

Most browsers support changing the download manager. What about Libreoffice, I’m not sure

Kadouryy 2022-09-29 12:04:54
he is talking about the save file dialog also
