Well easier is very subjective… what is easier for one person is not necessarily for the other. But that’s neither here nor there.

hello everyone, I’m using debian 9 I Have One script which is working perfectly directly from terminal but fails with system. basically My script is running 1 hal file from linuxcnc. currently there is not showing any error And I have permission perfectly still not starting that file with systemd startup.

How are you starting it up?

In service file Im calling 1 script that script basically running one file

Script is running but file is not playing is closing

If I run script from terminal then it hold terminal and if I closed with ctrl +d then file also stops

Maybe I need to play that in background
