But there isn’t there out of the ordinary. What’s the error that you see in every boot? Can you reboot and take a screenshot of it please?

ㅤ 2022-09-20 10:39:15
This is the error
gnutechie 2022-09-20 10:41:32
Ok. type: cd /
Then type:
ls -la
and take a screenshot (please not sideways… my neck can’t take the rotation).
ㅤ 2022-09-20 10:41:53
Ok sorry for that
gnutechie 2022-09-20 10:42:54
and while you’re at it type: cat /etc/fstab
and screenshot that one too because I have a feeling that’s where the kerfuffle is.
ㅤ 2022-09-20 10:49:26
Is the ss ok? Or is it sideways
gnutechie 2022-09-20 10:49:27
Add this line to the bottom of /etc/fstab:
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults,noatime,mode=1777 0 0
save, reboot and let us know if it worked
ㅤ 2022-09-20 10:50:57
It works, can login as usual

No worries… just keep notes. The whole thing is to eliminate as many failure points as possible. Now you have to figure out what you’re gonna do with your VMs … perhaps invest in a bigger SSD drive… and set them up as unprivileged so the qcow2 files are not eating up your /var/lib/libvirt space

infosecperson 2022-09-25 10:17:17
