You should track what process spawns it. An option is to replace the binary by a script that does nothing (so your computer does not freeze), then watch what is the process that start it all.

I solved it by simply changing the default browser to chrome

Aw bro I updated one package, now it uninstalled dde an I’m using LXDE. And they have not all the packages to install dde in the repos. I can no more be testing, they rely on packages that they no more have. Is that a distro??

I disagree. Actually using on an old 4gb i3, using it to surf internet, stream movies, send email, shopping, I mean I don’t use the pc to work.
Deepin is flying on that config.
At idle, deepin uses less than 1gb ram.
The really more important than having more than 4gb ram is as usual having an SSD, at the same way using Windows or any OS.
Anyway, the point is about what will be your use of pc.
