Hi. Here is the problem.
1. It is about making Maltego I ve downloaded functional with a custom local transform.
1.1. have downloaded the custom local transform certificate and instructions to install it in Maltego.
1.2. The issue is next when it comes to installing that transform – it says that my proxy settings are incorret – which makes sense since I am not using proxy.
1.3. It also says that problem may be due to certificate being blacklisted – but I don t know how to detect that, I ve tried everything in transforms section of the Maltego program.
1.4. It also says that the date may be invalid.
1.5. It also says that the problem is due to subjet alternative names or subject common names.
1.6. When I click the website of the certificate – I get some text.

2. In the instructions it was said that I should change my Ethernet MAC to a custom one provided. I did that, however, the problem is that currently my ethernet adapter is not working.
2.2. So I ve tried to change the MAC Wifi. However, I ve used TMAC, SMAC and Mac Address changer software – all reported errors that can t switch to the Mac address I need.
2.3. So my option was OpenWRT – so I added MAC filters allowed on my wifi points both on that custom MAC address. It didn t help.
2.4. So instead on going and changing on network-wireless, I went to network – interfaces. I applied the custom MAC address on all – but it won t to accept it.

But he has a same problem like me – he couldn t change his MAC to a custom MAC address. The settings wouldn t apply after clicking save and apply.
