no jk but if you like arch then you’ll be good with black arch
theultimateultimaa 2022-07-21 15:18:23
the only con I noticed is the casual breakage that’ll happen every few months
you’ll know how to deal with them pretty quick
I honestly only faced these breakages on my nvidia machine
the other one that has integrated intel graphics never broke on me

I think it a little bit more confusing than the other linux types. Is that right?

It’s not the editing that’s the problem for me, it’s the previewing. I want to somewhat preview the .md file (as pretty as kt can be ) in the terminal.

I checked out Glow but I didn’t like it

Isnt that the goal of Markdown? Being viewable without a special tool?

Yes but if you were to cat a markdown file, you would see all the #’s and the -‘s and the hyperlinks.
ayyetism_luv 2022-07-21 16:21:19
Same thing when you open using editors
ayyetism_luv 2022-07-21 16:22:05
Tools like notion allow you to edit markdown in a WYSIWYG way in a fancy gui

for previewing into html i use grip
K11M1 2022-07-21 16:32:19
but like… it is plain text, you won’t get that much more things out of it
ayyetism_luv 2022-07-21 16:35:59
K11M1 2022-07-21 16:32:03

Exactly. There are many ways to preview into html and open it up in a browser of some sort. Not many for terminals.
ayyetism_luv 2022-07-21 16:36:04
That’s all I’m asking for man
ayyetism_luv 2022-07-21 16:41:08
some examples of what I’m talking about
– mdless
– mdp
– glow
K11M1 2022-07-21 16:44:17
mdless has a pager that’s not cli

K11M1 2022-07-21 16:48:36
