If you’re using GParted, select your laptop’s boot drive, select the EFI partition and delete. Click the green tick, so that it is applied

Oh and if you don’t have any data whatsoever you can also just create a new GPT partition table and that will erase everything on the drive including EFI

But Windows is loading, and Linux Mint live is loading? Everything but boot repair tool x32.

What I did, on an alienware (dell) laptop is physically remove the SSD that win10 was installed on, replaced it with a blank ssd. Installed a GNU/Linux distro via live USB.

In general trying to fix Windows errors doesn’t work out that well. It’s just how it is. Creating a new partition table so that the drive has no partitions, not even EFI, and then resetting BIOS to defaults should fix any EFI errors you’re having. As for the USB you’ll reinstall from, I personally recommend Ventoy because that way you can use a single ISO to boot both Linux and Windows.

Maybe it didn t wanna boot because the Boot disk is only GRUB, while it seems I need EFI now.
