I have a WDDM3 driver and Mesa with the DirectX kernel .so file present.

Actually… I think it broke with the upgrade to 22.04… I’ll try to set up a fresh install and see if that works.

I’ve used Windows my whole life, but now trying to take my online privacy seriously and want to use Whonix. I’m reading the site and it says it can be downloaded on top of windows? Is this the preferred or reasonable method of one wants complete privacy? I don’t want to trust Microsoft anymore.
cryptodanvr 2022-08-01 06:58:25
For complete privacy use cash and don’t use technology

Ok, most complete privacy while using an operating system. Is it reasonable to download Whonix on top of windows, or is it preferable to not have windows involved at all?

It is but you’ll need to change your browsing habits and what you do online and get rid of any social media

On 22.04, yes indeed I was using kisak’s mesa but GPU acceleration was broken.
ryder_099 2022-08-01 08:19:01
Guess I’ll stick to 20.04 for the time being.

Depends. If you want, and know how to set it up for your distro.
ryder_099 2022-08-01 08:22:54
Ubuntu and Fedora make it easy to use Secure Boot. Others may require you to sign your kernel and enrol your key.

You don’t need to, no.

Why is wifi adapter disconnecting? I am using Lubuntu 18.04 on 32 bit system.
ryder_099 2022-08-01 08:24:36
Enabling secure boot will most likely prevent you from booting Manjaro, unless you’ve already enrolled the key and set up signing.
