Ethernet stopped working after dualbooting Windows 10 and Zorin.

On windows it shows up as “Unidentified Network” and on Linux it Simply Says Unable to Connect to network. I tried enabling / disabling Wake-on-LAN but no luck. Also I am able to use USB tethering from my phone.

Guys i have a question.
Is kali nethunter and kali on termux same (obviously not)
I mean, if i can install and use every tool that nethunter has, on kali (in termux) then it makes no difference right (apart from getting a gui in vnc)

What command are you trying to run?

First i would run apt-get update and then apt-get upgrade

It could update maybe other system packages already on the host? In general it’s a good practice to run. Test all this stuff inside a docker container if you’re afraid of breaking smth

I already have a vm in my laptop and tested with that….It worked but I need to do it on work laptop of some other user

Yes, but it is a good idea to check what packages are being upgraded

apt list –upgradable

And then you can choose to upgrade each one manually

apt upgrade package-name

(I guess that was the command)

As i remember when i did upgrade it changed the kernel version from 5.13….to 5.15.

I actually have to update kernel as the current state is creating lot of problems like sudden os crash or screenshot doesnt work properly or shutdown hang
